The Holton Group
Jim Holton, has been planning, producing and directing corporate communications and meetings for clients since 1974. He began his career as a Chemical Engineer, later he spent several years as VP of sales for two large corporations in Toronto and Boston and then moved to a position of creative director for Business Incentives in Minneapolis.
Jim spent 8 years at Business Incentives establishing and managing the Business Theatre group. This group created and executed multi-million dollar productions for clients such as Northern Telecom, Case IH, Xerox, Cargill along with smaller film and video projects for 7-Eleven stores and Northwestern Mutual Life.
Later, Jim was recruited to Carlson Companies to manage the Meetings Division as a corporate Vice President and General Manager. Here again the projects varied from the multi-million dollar productions for Shell Oil to more moderate projects for AT&T, Us West, Conoco Oil, Hyundai Automobile, Apple Computer, Microsoft and many others.
Since 1989 Jim has continued to produce events and video communications as President of The Holton Group.
PATRICK FREDERICK
Pat and Jim have worked together since 1983 and continue to create events with a passion for excellence. Patrick has been performing music since his first band-gig at the age of 11. He is a classically trained violinist, an award winning vocalist and multi-instrumentalist.

Pat has performed nationally on stage from the Lone Star Café (NYC) to the Palomino (LA) from Beginnings (CHI) to the Legendary Armadillo World Headquarters (Austin Tx) appearing with a long list of notables including Aretha Franklin, Vince Gill, Jay Leno and Ray Charles and too many more to mention.
In addition to being a writer, composer, vocalist, audio producer/editor and multi-instrumentalist Patrick has performed as musical director and actor in many theatrical productions. He is a first call session vocalist in the Twin Cities and has recorded with artists such as Bobby McFerrin, Peter Oshtrousko, David Hungate (Toto,) and noted producers Steve Gibson, David Malloy (Nashville TN,) Tom Tucker (Paisley Park Studios) Rick Hall, David Z (Fine Young Cannibals, Prince,) and Ricky Peterson (John Mayer)
